Video
A YouTube or Vimeo video, or a video you upload to your store. Unless autoplay is on, it shows a poster with a play button.
Where it is used
A standalone block. It can also be placed inside a Popup link. The shoppable-video section and the home page template also use it.

| Video source | • Local video | Chooses where the video comes from: a file uploaded to Shopify, or a YouTube or Vimeo link. |
| Video URL | YouTube or Vimeo link for the video. Only used when Video source is External video link. | |
| Video | Video file hosted by Shopify. Only used when Video source is Local video. | |
| Video poster | Image shown on the video before it plays. If empty, the video's own preview image is used. Only used when Video source is Local video. | |
| Enable video autoplay | Starts the video on its own when it loads. When off, a local video shows its poster with a play button until the shopper starts it. | |
| Enable video looping | Plays the video again from the start each time it ends. | |
| Video alt text | Text that screen readers read aloud to describe the video. A default description is used when this is empty. | |
| Video ratio | • Adapt to video | Sets the shape of the video frame: Adapt to video, Square, Portrait, Video (16:9) or Cinema (21:9). |
| Video width on desktop | Sets how wide the video is on desktop, as a percentage of the space available to the block. | |
| Video width on mobile | Sets how wide the video is on mobile, as a percentage of the space available to the block. | |
| Corner radius | • Inherit | Sets the video's rounded corners. Inherit follows the global rounded image setting in theme settings, None gives square corners, and Custom lets you set the value. |
| Custom corner radius | Sets the corner radius of the video, in pixels. Only used when Corner radius is Custom. |
Video URL accepts YouTube and Vimeo links. The Video and Video poster fields appear only when Video source is Local video. If no poster is set, the video's own preview image is used. Video alt text is read aloud by screen readers.

Notes
Uploaded videos need an MP4 version to play.
Enable video looping applies to uploaded videos and to YouTube and Vimeo videos.
