Newsletter popup

Newsletter popup is a popup that asks visitors to sign up for email updates. It can also ask which collection they are shopping for before the sign-up form.

How to find it

In the Theme Editor, open the Popups and drawers group, then select Newsletter popup.

General

Setting	Options	Description
Show on home page		When on, the popup opens automatically only on the home page. When off, it can open on any page. It opens after a shopper scrolls 70% of the page and then stays idle for 4 seconds, and is skipped for shoppers who already signed up.
Width	• Full width • Auto	Full width makes the popup fill the screen on desktop. Auto sizes it to its content with a maximum width.
Image		This image will be hidden automatically on mobile. 350px x 410px recommended
Desktop media width		Sets how much of the popup the image takes up on desktop, as a percentage. Only has an effect when an image is chosen.
Image position on desktop	• Left • Right	Places the popup image on the left or right of the sign-up content on desktop.

Collection selector settings

Setting	Options	Description
Enable collection selector		Adds a first step where shoppers pick a collection they are interested in before the email form appears. Their choice is saved with the sign-up in a note called Collection selector.
Selector heading		Heading shown above the collection buttons in the first step. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Selector description		Text shown under the selector heading in the first step. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Selector instruction		Short prompt shown just above the collection buttons. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Collection 1		Text on the first collection button. A button with no text is not shown. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Collection 2		Text on the second collection button. A button with no text is not shown. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Collection 3		Text on the third collection button. A button with no text is not shown. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Collection 4		Text on the fourth collection button. A button with no text is not shown. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.
Collection 5		Text on the fifth collection button. A button with no text is not shown. Only used when Enable collection selector is on.

Newsletter settings

Setting	Options	Description
Heading		Main heading of the sign-up step. When the collection selector is on, it appears after the shopper picks a collection.
Description		Text shown under the heading in the sign-up step.
Email		Text shown inside the email field and as its label. A default text is used when this is empty.
Button label		Text on the submit button. A default text is used when this is empty.
Policy text		Small print shown under the form, such as a note about your privacy policy.

General: Show on home page controls whether the popup appears on the home page. Width sets Full width (fullscreen) or Auto. Image, Desktop media width, and Image position on desktop set the picture beside the form.

When Enable collection selector is on, the popup starts with the selector heading, description, and instruction. It then lists the Collection 1 to Collection 5 fields as choices. Each Collection field is a text label for one choice.

Newsletter settings set the heading, description, email placeholder, and button label. Policy text appears under the form only when it is filled in.
