Account page
The Account page is the private area a signed-in customer opens to check personal details, past orders, and saved addresses. Shoppers reach it from the account icon in the header after they log in. Only authenticated customers can open it, so order history and addresses stay protected.
The page appears in your store only when customer accounts are enabled in the Shopify admin. It is managed by Shopify rather than by the theme, so there are no theme-side settings to configure for it.
Before you start
Turn on customer accounts in your Shopify admin first. Without them, shoppers have no way to log in and the account page is never reached. See Customer account for the theme side of this setting.
There is nothing to configure in the theme
The account page is a Shopify-managed customer account page. Shopify builds and hosts it, so it does not appear as an editable template in Online Store > Themes > Customize and it has no theme sections, blocks, or settings you can adjust. What a signed-in customer sees, the order list, the account details, and the saved addresses, is controlled by Shopify.
The theme still shapes how a customer gets to their account: the account icon in the header, and the login and account behavior covered under Customer account in the theme settings. Those are the only account-related controls on the theme side.
What changes on the storefront
- Signed-in customers get a Shopify-hosted area where they can review orders and manage addresses.
- Returning shoppers can check an order or reuse a saved address without contacting you, which cuts repeat support questions.
