Collection banner
Collection banner shows the title and description of a collection at the top of its page. It can use the collection's image as the background.
How to add it
- In the Theme Editor, open the template where you want the section.
- Select Add section, then choose Collection banner.
The package uses this section on the Collection template.

Banner
| Setting | Options | Description |

| Image | Banner background image. It is used when Show collection image is off, or when the collection has no image of its own. | |
| Show collection image | Use the collection's featured image as the banner background. The image above is used when the collection has no image. | |
| Overlay opacity | Darkens the banner image so the title and description stay readable. | |
| Image height | • Adapt to image | Banner height: follow the image proportions, fill the screen, grow with the text, or use a fixed Small, Medium or Large height. |
| Content position on desktop | • Middle left | Places the banner text on the left, center or right of the banner on desktop. Center and Right also align the text that way. |
| Custom width | Width of the text area as a percentage of the banner on desktop. |
Show collection image uses the collection's featured image as the banner background. The Image setting is used when the collection has no image.
