Currency format
Currency format controls whether the currency code is shown next to your prices. It is a single switch, but it matters for stores that sell across borders, because $24.00 means different things in different countries while $24.00 USD does not. Turn it on when your customers come from several currency zones. Leave it off when you sell in one market and the extra code only adds clutter.
How to find it
In the Theme Editor, open Theme settings, then select Currency format.

Currency codes
Cart and checkout prices always show currency codes. Example: $1.00 USD.
| Setting | Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Show currency codes | Adds the currency code next to prices, so shoppers can tell which currency they are seeing. It covers product prices (including compare-at and unit prices) and the lowest price shown on collection tiles. Default: off. |
Show currency codes adds the code next to prices on product, collection, and other storefront pages.
Notes
Cart and checkout always show currency codes, so this setting changes prices outside the cart and checkout.
