Search behavior
Search behavior settings control how the search interface appears and how users interact with product search in your store.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Choose between a popup or drawer layout for the search interface. |
| Show results | Display search results in a Tab layout based on result type (e.g., products, collections), or use a Default text layout for a simpler, unified view. |
| Show search history | Show the recently used keywords for searching. |
| Search placeholder | Placeholder text in the search bar. |
| Popular search | Recommend keywords to guide users toward common or trending search terms (e.g., t-shirt, dress, black). |
| Products recommendation | Select a specific product to highlight or suggest within the search area. |
| Enable predictive search | Display live search suggestions as users type. *Note: not available in all languages. |
| Show product price | Display product prices directly in the search dropdown or result list. |
